1. Who we are

Bindi Developer provides Notes and Reminder, an Android productivity app (package: com.bindi.note). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, its optional online features, and this policy page.

For privacy questions or requests, contact vijyacrafto@gmail.com. This policy covers Notes and Reminder; independent services such as Google and WhatsApp also have their own policies.

2. Notes, reminders and local storage

The app stores note titles and descriptions, reminder dates and repeat rules, optional phone numbers and links, language choices, and voice-reminder settings in its local app storage. Local note-taking does not require Google sign-in.

The app does not upload your note contents to our purchase-verification database or include your note text in advertising requests. Note contents leave your device through backup, export or sharing features that you use, including automatic Drive backups that you enable.

Reminder notifications may display note contents on your screen or lock screen. Spoken reminders may read them aloud. Use your device notification settings and the app’s voice options to control this exposure.

3. Google sign-in and online services

Optional Google sign-in uses Google and Firebase Authentication. These services process your account identifier, email address and profile details supplied by Google, such as your display name and profile image. Firebase assigns an account ID and manages authentication tokens. We do not receive your Google password.

Authentication and backend services may also process IP addresses, app and SDK identifiers, device/platform information, request metadata and operational logs to authenticate requests, operate the service and prevent abuse. Online features include account access, purchase verification and optional Drive backup. Notes are not automatically synchronized to Firestore.

4. Purchases and premium access

Google Play handles payments for Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime products when available. Our verification service processes your app account ID, app package, product ID, Google Play purchase token, access status, expiry and verification time. It also records request counts to limit abuse. An account identifier derived from your app user ID links a purchase to the correct account.

This information is used to validate purchases, restore premium access and process changes to purchase status. We do not collect your full card number, UPI PIN, banking password or Google payment credentials. Google Play retains payment records under its own policies.

5. Advertising and choices

The app uses Google AdMob for banner, interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares information such as IP addresses, device or account identifiers, ad/app interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. IP addresses may indicate approximate location. The app does not request precise GPS location.

Consent messages and advertising privacy options are presented where required and available through the configured Google consent service. Revisit available ad privacy options in Settings. Android also provides advertising-ID controls. Restricting personalization does not necessarily stop all information processing needed to serve or secure ads.

Active premium access disables ad display. An optional completed reward grants ad-free use until local midnight; it does not unlock premium exports or Drive backup. Disabling ads does not delete account or purchase records.

6. Google Drive backups and exported files

Drive backup is optional and requires your Google authorization and the applicable app access. The app requests access to its app-specific Drive data area, not to your general Drive documents. Backup files contain your notes, reminder information and supported settings.

Manual backup and restore happen when you request them. If you enable daily or monthly automatic backup, the app attempts it when opened or resumed, subject to network, account and access availability. It is not a guaranteed background backup at a fixed time.

The app aims to retain the latest 30 of its Drive backups. Older backups are removed after a successful new upload; failed cleanup is retried on a later backup. Local backup, PDF and Excel files are saved or shared to destinations you choose.

Deleting a note, signing out or uninstalling does not automatically remove previous backups or exported/shared copies. Restoring an older backup can bring previously deleted notes back to the device.

7. Contacts, permissions and sharing

  • Contacts: the system picker lets you select a contact phone number for a note. The app does not request unrestricted address-book access.
  • Calls and WhatsApp: a call action opens the dialer; a WhatsApp action can open a chat with the note title or description you choose to include. You decide whether to place the call or send the message. These services receive information under their own policies.
  • Notifications and alarms: notification permission, exact-alarm access, reboot handling, vibration and wake-lock features support scheduled reminders.
  • Spoken reminders: the app uses an installed offline text-to-speech voice and an audio foreground service. It does not request microphone access or record your voice.
  • Files: system pickers let you choose backup and export files or destinations without unrestricted storage access.
  • Internet: used for sign-in, ads, purchases, authorized Drive operations and online pages.

You can manage permissions in Android Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent its related feature from working.

8. Service providers and disclosures

Depending on the features you use, information is processed by Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, backend hosting and purchase records), Google Play (billing), Google AdMob (ads) and Google Drive (backup storage). Apps and recipients you select receive the files or messages you share.

Opening the online policy page connects to birthdaymitra.com and its hosting services, which receive standard web-request information such as IP address and browser/device details. Website cookies or other site services, if used, are governed by the website’s applicable notices. This app policy does not promise that the hosting website is free of cookies or third-party resources.

Service providers may process information outside your country under their terms and applicable protections. Necessary information may also be disclosed to comply with legal obligations, investigate abuse or protect security. Your note content is not provided by the app to advertisers.

9. How long information is kept

  • Local notes and settings: remain until deleted, replaced by a restore, or removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling. The app disables Android’s automatic app-data backup; separately created exports and Drive backups are independent.
  • Drive backups: subject to the latest-30 cleanup described above, or your separate deletion request/action.
  • Account and purchase records: retained to operate account access, verify and restore purchases, and handle security, fraud or legal obligations. Notes purchase records are removed by the app’s successful account/data deletion flow.
  • Support messages: the email address and information you send are used to handle your request and may be retained as needed for follow-up, security or applicable obligations.
  • Provider records: Google Play transactions, infrastructure logs and other provider-controlled records follow the relevant provider’s retention practices.

This app does not apply one fixed deletion period to every category. Shared sign-in records have the additional limitations explained below.

10. Delete your account or data

In the app: open Settings → Delete data. Choose phone-only deletion, or account/data deletion and complete fresh Google verification. When available in the deletion flow, choose whether to remove this app’s Drive backups too. Successful local deletion removes notes and cancels saved reminders.

Account scope: account/data deletion removes this app’s server purchase records and signs you out. If the backend retains a shared Firebase identity, that sign-in identity and shared abuse-prevention record may remain to protect access used by other apps. The app reports when a shared identity is retained. It does not delete your Google account or another app’s records. To request review and removal of a retained identity, email us using the instructions below.

Request deletion without reinstalling the app

  1. Email vijyacrafto@gmail.com, preferably from the Google email used in Notes and Reminder.
  2. Use the subject Notes and Reminder — Account/Data Deletion.
  3. State whether you want account/server data removed, a retained sign-in identity reviewed, and/or help removing Drive backups.

We may verify ownership before acting and explain any records that must remain and why. If you no longer control the account email, contact us for ownership-verification assistance. Do not send passwords, OTPs, payment credentials or private backup files.

Email support cannot directly erase notes stored only on your phone or files already held by other people. Remove local data through the app or Android Settings, and delete exported/shared copies where they are stored. Drive cleanup may require your authorization or action in your Google account.

Deleting app data or an account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel recurring payments through Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation is separate from requesting data deletion.

11. Security and your controls

Local data uses Android’s app storage protections. Supported online services use HTTPS, and the backend verifies signed-in requests before account-specific operations. This version does not add a separate app-level encryption layer to local notes or exported backup files. Protect your phone, Google account and backup locations. No system can guarantee absolute security.

You can edit or delete notes, choose whether to sign in, enable or disable automatic Drive backup, manage device permissions, review available ad choices and request help with account information. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain your information, withdraw consent or raise a concern with a relevant authority. Contact us to make a request; verification and applicable exceptions may apply.

12. Children and other people’s information

Notes and Reminder provides general note-taking and reminder functions. Enter another person’s contact details or other personal information only when you are authorized to do so. If you believe a child’s information has been provided to us without appropriate permission, contact vijyacrafto@gmail.com so we can review and address the request.

13. Policy updates and contact

We may revise this policy when app features or data-handling practices change. The updated date appears at the top. Material changes will be communicated, and additional choices or consent provided, where required.
